WHAT?

We live in a world where brand is king, be it a business, a band, a country, a town or even an individual.

The most successful brands are those that understand the needs and desires of their market and consistently deliver value over time.

In our increasingly turbulent and homogenous times, the main things that capture people’s imaginations are individuality and the ability to make people care.

Brands that really work, wear their uniqueness on their sleeves. They don’t lie, they tell the truth and they say “Care about me”.

Successful brands are constantly evolving, and recent financial upset has seen a re-evaluation of brands and how they are no longer just employed to sell something, they are there to create a long term relationship with their audience.

A good brand works hard, creates intrigue, increases business and builds loyalty.

A bad brand says nothing.

A good Re-brand can refocus a company, create buy in from staff and customers, increase profits, change behaviour patterns and in turn change companies.

A bad Re-brand is a change of logo and that’s it.

remarkable - to cause remark.

You may love it, you may wonder - but you can’t ignore it! It’s all about causing intrigue.

How does it work?

So you have a great product, you want people to know about it and buy into what you are trying to achieve - you need to get your message across.

It is universally recognised that a big part of delivering your message is branding - how you present yourself & your product or service - from your logo to your website to your point of sale, your tone of voice in fact your whole marketing campaign. Your brand and it’s design elements are normally the first contact someone will have with your organisation. They have to be good!

If design & branding are to work in unison, they need to connect fully with the target audience.

They need to tell a good story.

They need to convey an ethos and a standpoint.

They need to say EXACTLY what you are offering.

To get a message across you have to produce something special.

The Difference

A lot of design companies will take your text and photos & make them look nice.

But add to this no nonsense evaluation of your brand and positioning statement, how you interact with your target audience, what images work hardest and most importantly how to convey the truth about you and your product enables us to takes your marketing material to a much higher level.

And that’s what I do. I specialise in a unique combination of brand analysis & creation, innovative design, images & words -

all combined to give a consistent message across across all media.

On a decent sized project, this process is often kick-started by a free half day workshop which typically includes between two and eight of your team It’s time well spent as it enable us to get right to the heart of what you are trying to achieve. It works just as well for a large corporate, a theatre, a retail outlet, a government initiative, an individual, a charity or a new product. I’ve run a lot of these and it is always a very positive experience for everyone involved.

This thinking is applied across the board to brochures, advertising, web, direct mail, web campaigns and everything else you can think of!

Don’t worry, you won’t have to change your logo

There’s a lot more to branding than a logo. I’ve done successful rebrands that have left the original logo completely in tact. It’s just about making sure people understand what you are trying to achieve. This can be done by various measures, as discussed previously. (Or then again........you might want to change your logo...............).

Relationships

In the end it’s all about relationships - mine with you and you with your customer.

It’s why I have worked with some of my own customers for for many years. I love building that client relationship over a long time, and view each piece of new work as a stage to creating a unique and lasting brand experience for their customers.

Drop me an email if you want to talk about how we can take your brand and design further, or even how we can create something new. It’s a no obligation thing - I’ll meet up with you and see if there’s anything we can do together. If there isn’t, I’ll be honest and point you in the right direction.
